Have you been in a yoga class and been told to engage those mysterious bandhas? Has it been a bit unclear what the heck the teacher means?
This 90 minute workshop includes an anatomy presentation to get you aquainted with your bandha-anatomy as well as a 60 minute yoga-biomechanics class designed to give you a practical, experiential understanding of how to use the bandhas. Expect to learn about the deep core to help support, empower and refine your practice.
We will discuss: Mula Bandha + pelvic floor muscles, Uddiyana-Bandha + TVA, and Jalandhara Bandha + deep neck flexors.
Come prepared to move, learn a little anatomy, and refine your yoga practice!
